SO, WE STARTED THE HONEY FOR HOPE PROJECT.
Through Honey for Hope we raise funds for Heifer International - an organisation helping families to overcome hunger, poverty, and to develop sustainable incomes.
The Honey of Hope Project is possible because of you - our customers. On an ongoing basis we donate a percentage of our profits to purchase beehives. Heifer International 'empower people to turn hunger and poverty into hope and prosperity' working with communities by providing animals such as goats, chickens or honey bees as a source of food and a sustainable, and reliable income for people in need. These families then 'pass on the gift', giving the first female offspring of their animal to another family.
Apiary Made is a registered fundraiser with Heifer International so you can be certain we are following up on our promise to donate.
